Viva Las Vegas: LIV Golf and MGM Resorts Roll the Dice on a Pre-Season Like No Other
MGM Resorts partners with LIV Golf to host 2026 pre-season in Las Vegas, blending luxury, entertainment, and team strategy before the big show begins
Las Vegas - Veteran disruptor LIV Golf is relocating its 2026 pre-season bash to Las Vegas as part of a landmark partnership with MGM Resorts International. The event will be known as LIV Golf Week 2026 presented by MGM Resorts.
The agreement, unveiled today, promises a unique blend of high-octane sport, global glamour and strategic team synergy — all set against the glimmering backdrop of the Las Vegas Strip. MGM Resorts will serve as both host venue and presenting partner for the annual curtain-raiser to the LIV Golf season.
“This collaboration takes our commitment to top-tier experiences even further,” said Monica Fee, LIV Golf’s Senior Vice President, Head of Global Partnerships. “Las Vegas offers an unmatched stage, and MGM Resorts provides the kind of world-class setting that reflects the bold energy of our league.”
The partnership means players, captains, staff and officials will descend on Vegas for a series of commercial campaigns, media obligations and strategy sessions — but with a LIV twist. With content capture, influencer moments, and hospitality activations planned across MGM’s iconic properties, LIV Golf Week promises to blur the line between sport and spectacle.
“MGM Rewards members will enjoy access to experiences that go beyond the ropes,” said Lance Evans, MGM Resorts’ Senior Vice President of Sports and Sponsorships. “This partnership puts us at the heart of a truly global sporting moment.”
From Florida to Nevada, this move signals LIV’s intent to position Las Vegas as golf’s entertainment capital — and not just for fans. VIP guests will enjoy opportunities to tee it up with stars like Jon Rahm, Brooks Koepka and Dustin Johnson throughout the 2025 season.
And with 14 major winners among the League’s 13 four-man teams, the storylines are already glistening: reigning individual champion Rahm leads Legion XIII; Cameron Smith’s Ripper GC will return as defending team champions.
The precise dates and itinerary for LIV Golf Week 2026 are yet to be confirmed — but one thing is certain: Las Vegas won’t stay quiet when golf arrives with this much noise.
