Viking joins the PGA TOUR family
Viking has become the Official Cruise Line of the PGA TOUR and PGA TOUR Champions under a new multi-year partnership announced in Los Angeles and Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.
The agreement, which runs through 2030, will focus on building brand awareness for Viking through media and digital placements across PGA TOUR platforms, aligning golf with destination-focused travel.
Richard Marnell, Viking’s executive vice president of marketing, said: “Both golf and travel are important priorities in the lives of many Viking guests, so partnering with the PGA TOUR is a natural fit and builds on our continued commitment to support cultural programming and events.”
Founded in 1997, Viking has grown into a global leader in experiential travel, operating more than 100 ships across 21 rivers, five oceans and all seven continents, with a philosophy rooted in culturally enriching journeys.
Dan Glod, PGA TOUR executive vice president of corporate partnerships, said the organisation was excited to introduce Viking to fans worldwide, noting the company’s reputation for providing memorable and enriching travel experiences that resonate with players and supporters alike.
