Tom Phillips to Lead Ladies European Tour
Experienced executive returns to UK to guide next phase of women’s golf
Tom Phillips will become chief executive officer of the Ladies European Tour on April 6, 2026, bringing more than 25 years of experience across the global golf and leisure industry as the Tour looks to build further momentum.
Currently director of Middle East for the DP World Tour, Phillips leads a 30-strong team in the United Arab Emirates and has played a central role in a period of significant growth, including the landmark title partnership with DP World and an expanded tournament footprint.
Marta Figueras Dotti, chair of the LET Ltd. board, said: “Tom is a highly respected leader with deep international experience and a strong track record of delivering sustainable growth. His commercial expertise, collaborative approach and passion for the game make him the right person to lead the LET.”
Liz Moore, chair of the LPGA-LET Joint Venture Board of Directors, added that Phillips brings “a global perspective and a clear understanding of how to grow professional sport in a way that benefits athletes, partners and fans”.
Before joining the DP World Tour in 2019, Phillips spent nearly 15 years working with six-time major champion Sir Nick Faldo, including as chief executive of the Faldo Series, which expanded to 40 tournaments across 30 countries, and later led the Hong Kong Golf Association.
Having also held senior roles with Mission Hills in China, where he helped negotiate long-term partnerships with FC Barcelona, the NBA and the PGA of America, Phillips said he was “honoured” to take on the role and will return to the UK after two decades in Asia and the Middle East.
