The Junior Ryder Cup welcomes EY as Presenting Partner
Multinational professional services network signs major agreement spanning the 2027, 2029 and 2031 matches
Korea - Ryder Cup Europe and the PGA of America announced on Tuesday that EY has signed a major multi-year agreement to become the Presenting Partner for the next three editions of the Junior Ryder Cup. The premier biennial mixed event showcases the finest male and female amateur golfers aged 18 and under from Europe and the United States. Staged during the same week as the main Ryder Cup, the junior showcase has a rich history of fostering future global talent, with six members of the 2025 Ryder Cup teams and seven stars from the 2024 Solheim Cup having previously progressed through its ranks.
“The Junior Ryder Cup provides an exciting precursor to golf’s greatest team contest,” said Richard Atkinson, Chief Ryder Cup Officer at the European Tour group, noting that EY’s immense global scale will significantly elevate the event during the Ryder Cup’s historic 100th anniversary in 2027. Terry Clark, CEO of the PGA of America, echoed the sentiment, expressing enthusiasm for how the partnership will enhance the overall experience for the rising stars as the tournament looks ahead to future venues, including a highly anticipated return to Hazeltine National Golf Club in Minnesota in 2029.
The partnership officially kicks off in 2027, where the opening two days of foursomes and fourballs will be contested at the scenic Ballyneety Golf Club in County Limerick, Ireland—which is also scheduled to host the 2027 G4D (Golf for the Disabled) Ryder Cup. The decisive final-day singles matches will then transition directly to Adare Manor on the eve of the main Ryder Cup itself. Frank O’Keeffe, EY Ireland Managing Partner, emphasized that the decision represents a core investment in the next generation: “At EY, we are committed to creating pathways for young talent to succeed and providing young athletes with the opportunity to build resilience, grow through teamwork and lead with confidence.”
