TGL Sharpens the Show
Season two leans into storytelling, technology and reach as team golf settles into prime time
TGL presented by SoFi returns for its second season on December 28 at the SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, with a Finals rematch between New York Golf Club and defending champion Atlanta Drive GC marking the league’s broadcast debut on ABC.
Following a full evaluation of its inaugural campaign, the primetime team competition has introduced enhancements across competition, broadcast and the live fan experience, including a larger green complex, an expanded catalogue of virtual holes and new tools designed to clarify match-play strategy.
Former PGA TOUR professional Roberto Castro joins the broadcast team alongside Scott Van Pelt, with new Virtual Eye shot comparisons, augmented-reality graphics and live shot tracing aimed at explaining momentum swings and risk-reward decisions.
TGL’s footprint has also grown, with distribution now spanning 152 countries and territories, adding new partners while continuing coverage with broadcasters including Sky Sports, ESPN and beIN, extending the league’s reach well beyond its Florida base.
At the venue itself, fans will experience in-match audio through complimentary wireless earbuds, expanded hospitality at the reimagined CÎROC Athletic Club and an enhanced in-house production, as TGL presented by SoFi continues to refine a format built to bring team golf into the mainstream.
