Paju, Korea - South Korea’s Si Woo Kim and Tom Kim have qualified for the PGA Tour’s season-ending TOUR Championship, securing two of the coveted 30 spots in the FedExCup Playoffs finale at East Lake Golf Club.
In Sunday’s final round of the BMW Championship at Bellerive Country Club in St. Louis, Missouri, Si Woo Kim carded a one-under-par 69 to tie for 33rd place at two-under 278. The finish locked Kim into fifth position in the official FedExCup standings, making him the top-ranked Asian player entering Atlanta.
Tom Kim closed with a two-under 68 to finish tied for 28th at three-under-par 277, successfully climbing to 29th in the standings to punch his ticket to East Lake. The achievement caps a remarkable mid-season turnaround for the 24-year-old, following his victory at the Genesis Scottish Open last month.
The duo becomes the first Korean pair to reach the TOUR Championship together since 2023. However, Sungjae Im narrowly missed out on extending his record streak. Despite firing a final-round 71 to finish tied for 10th at eight-under 272—highlighted by a dramatic 22-yard chip-in eagle on the 8th hole—Im ended the week ranked 37th in the FedExCup, snapping a seven-year streak of TOUR Championship appearances dating back to 2019.
At the top of the leaderboard, Wyndham Clark closed in dominant fashion, birdying his final three holes to post a four-under 66 and secure a three-stroke victory over Patrick Cantlay. Clark finished at 17-under-par 263 to take home the $3.6 million winner’s check, elevating him to third in the FedExCup standings. The victory marks Clark’s third title of the 2026 season, adding to his earlier wins at the U.S. Open and The CJ CUP Byron Nelson.
Rory McIlroy finished solo third at 13-under 267 to move to 11th in the FedExCup, while World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler tied for 12th at seven-under par to maintain his position at the top of the standings.
The top 30 players will head to East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, Georgia, starting August 27 to compete for the FedExCup title and its $40 million prize purse.
