Perez joins Cleeks Golf Club for 2026 season
French standout becomes first from his nation to step into LIV Golf arena
Seoul, Korea - Frenchman Victor Perez has completed the Cleeks Golf Club roster for 2026 after signing with the LIV Golf team ahead of its season-opening event in Riyadh in February.
The three-time DP World Tour winner, 33, becomes the first French player to join the league. He arrives with victories at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, the Dutch Open and the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship, along with Olympic experience from Paris 2024.
Perez said he was drawn to Cleeks’ ambition and identity: “Joining Cleeks Golf Club for the 2026 season feels like joining golf’s next great chapter, as this club continues to push boundaries, perform at the highest level, and bring fresh energy and vision to the game.”
He will line up alongside captain Martin Kaymer, Richard Bland and Adrian Meronk. Kaymer welcomed the signing, saying Perez “embodies the precision and passion” the team is seeking as LIV Golf pushes its innovation-driven model into a fourth season.
Cleeks continue to fuse performance with culture through partnerships with lifestyle and art collaborators, and General Manager Jonas Martensson said Perez “has the talent, the mindset, and the style to elevate our team both on the course and beyond it” as anticipation builds for 2026.
