Marta Martin Leads Stellar Field as LET Returns to Beroun
Chasing Glory Beneath Beroun's Rolling Hills: A Star-Studded Cast Eyes the Czech Crown
Seoul, Korea - The Ladies European Tour returns to Royal Beroun Golf Club from June 20-22 for the 2025 Tipsport Czech Ladies Open, where the race to Evian reaches a thrilling climax.
A 132-player field, including 15 invites, will battle over 54 holes of stroke play for a share of the €300,000 purse. After 36 holes, only the top 60 professionals and ties will advance to the final round. This will be the seventh edition of the event and the sixth consecutive year it takes place at Royal Beroun.
Reigning champion Marta Martin headlines the field, returning to defend her 2024 title where she posted a remarkable 199 (-17), four shots clear of Rosie Davies. Also teeing it up is 2023 champion Diksha Dagar, alongside 2025 LET winners Perrine Delacour, Sara Kouskova and Darcey Harry, who claimed her maiden LET title at the Hulencourt Women’s Open.
"I have great memories here," said Martin. "Royal Beroun is a course that suits my game, but every year brings a new challenge. The competition keeps getting stronger, and I'm excited to defend my title."
The 6,225-yard, par-72 layout was crafted by Canadian architect Les Furber and opened in 2009 on a site that once housed a military installation. Its four irrigation lakes add a strategic element, particularly at the opening and closing holes on both nines. The course has become a popular fixture on the LET, while also hosting the Czech Open on the Czech PGA Tour.
Adding to the local flavour are 11 Czech players in the field, including Sara Kouskova, who has already captured two titles this season. Six amateurs will also test their mettle against the professionals, adding to the international flair of the tournament.
The Tipsport Czech Ladies Open promises drama and intrigue as the Race to Evian nears its conclusion, with players seeking not only victory but valuable ranking points. Fans can follow all the action across LET social media channels and the tournament's official platforms.
