LIV Golf heads back to Virginia for 2026 season
Star-studded field set to battle once more on Potomac’s edge as LIV Golf brings championship drama and fan-fuelled spectacle back to northern Virginia
Las Vegas - LIV Golf will return to Trump National Golf Club Washington, D.C. from May 8 to 10 in 2026, confirming a third visit to the Mid-Atlantic region and a second stop at the prestigious venue.
The event, LIV Golf Virginia presented by Maaden, was announced following a successful 2025 tournament at Robert Trent Jones Golf Club, and a record-setting debut at Trump D.C. in 2023. Early bird tickets are now available at LIVGolf.com, with fans offered three-day grounds passes and Club 54 Hospitality access.
“Following a memorable event in 2023 and a great tournament at Robert Trent Jones earlier this year, we’re looking forward to bringing LIV Golf back to Virginia in 2026,” said Ross Hallett, LIV Golf Executive Vice President, Head of Events. “Trump National offers a bold, championship-calibre stage for our players to compete and we are thrilled to once again showcase elite golf, an immersive fan environment, and premium hospitality in picturesque northern Virginia.”
Eric Trump added: “When we last hosted at Trump D.C., we set all-time attendance records—and this year will be even bigger.”
In June 2025, Torque GC’s Joaquin Niemann claimed a one-shot individual victory over Graeme McDowell and Anirban Lahiri, while Crushers GC, led by Bryson DeChambeau, took their second team win of the season. The 2026 return to Trump National promises similar drama on a course that demands precision and rewards bold shot-making.
The LIV field boasts 14 major winners with 28 championships between them, including Cam Smith, Phil Mickelson, Brooks Koepka, Dustin Johnson, and Jon Rahm, all expected to tee it up over the three-day showcase.
