KGA Launches Mobile App to Bring Golf Closer to Everyone
New app offers streamlined access to tournament updates, rules, rankings and more
Las Vegas - The Korea Golf Association (KGA) has launched a new mobile application, “KGA,” designed to make golf more accessible and convenient for players and fans across the country.
Available now on both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, the app provides quick access to a wide range of information, including the latest on Korea’s major tournaments such as the Korea Open, Korea Women’s Open and Korea Senior Open. Users can also check player rankings, explore current golf rules and handicap updates, view news from member golf clubs, and see the latest hole-in-one records.
Hyung-guk Ahn, who oversaw the app’s development as head of KGA’s Handicap and Marketing Team, explained: “Until now, the only way to access tournament and association information was via our website. With the KGA app, golfers can now get everything they need directly on their phones—faster and easier than ever.”
Ahn added that a tournament entry feature is currently in development. “We’re working towards a system where all procedures, from registration to updates, can be completed on mobile. Next year, we’ll also unveil our own handicap programme, which will integrate seamlessly with this app.”
To download, search “KGA” or “대한골프협회” in your mobile app store.
