Husqvarna Takes the Helm at the British Masters
An iconic championship enters a new era with innovation at its heart
Husqvarna has signed a new multi-year agreement to become Title Partner of the British Masters hosted by Sir Nick Faldo, one of the most historic national Opens on the DP World Tour.
First played in 1946, the tournament has crowned legends including Peter Thomson, Tony Jacklin, Seve Ballesteros and Faldo himself, and is staged at The Belfry on the Brabazon Course, part of the Tour’s prestigious Back 9.
“As a former Champion, I take great pride in hosting this iconic tournament and it’s about to enter an exciting new era with this new partnership,” said Faldo, adding that Husqvarna’s products will be used extensively to present the course at its best.
The agreement also elevates Husqvarna to Official Marketing Partner of the DP World Tour, building on partnerships in 2025 that included the British Masters, the Amgen Irish Open and the BMW International Open.
Husqvarna’s growing presence in elite golf was underlined at the 2025 AIG Women’s Open in Wales, where 15 CEORA robotic mowers maintained all 18 fairways, reflecting a shared commitment to modernising golf course maintenance.

Impressive move integrating robotic maintenance into elite golf. The detail about 15 CEORA mowers handling all 18 fairways at the Women's Open shows this tech has matured way beyond novelty, I saw a similar setup at a local courese last year. What's interesting is how this partnership symbiotically benefits both the sport's presentation standards and Husqvarna's credibility in proffesional turf management.
