Paju, Korea - The inaugural Hanwha Life Invitational Asian Girls Junior Golf Championship will take place from October 6 to 8 at The Heaven Country Club in Ansan, Gyeonggi Province, tournament organizers announced on Wednesday.
Sponsored by Hanwha Life, organized by the Seoul Golf Association, and sanctioned by the Korea Golf Association (KGA), the 54-hole stroke-play tournament will gather 108 elite female junior golfers aged 13 to 18 from South Korea and five Southeast Asian nations.
The field comprises 88 top-ranked domestic juniors alongside 20 international prospects representing Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore. Korean participants will be selected based on official KGA national rankings, with registration open through September 2.
In addition to awarding World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR) points, the championship will distribute 10 million won (approx. $7,500) in educational grants to top finishers. Winning players will also earn exclusive invitation spots to the official Pro-Am for the 2027 Hanwha LIFEPLUS International Crown, scheduled to be held at Lake Merced Golf Club in San Francisco, California.
