Green leads charge for March honour
Australian swing sets stage for fierce Player of the Month contest
Paju, Korea - Hannah Green, Casandra Alexander, Kelsey Bennett and Meghan MacLaren have been named nominees for the March 2026 Ladies European Tour Player of the Month following a strong Australian swing.
Three tournaments across New South Wales, Adelaide and the Gold Coast shaped the shortlist, with performances assessed by LET commentators Richard Kaufman and Sophie Walker after a competitive month Down Under.
“Hannah Green is on an unbelievable run,” the expert panel said. “Three wins, one red hot streak. Hannah Green is flying.”
Green headlines the nominees after winning on the LPGA in Singapore before returning home to claim back-to-back LET titles, becoming the first Australian winner of the Women’s Australian Open since Karrie Webb.
Cass Alexander leads the LET Order of Merit after three top-10 finishes, while Bennett secured a breakthrough maiden LET victory at the Australian Women’s Classic to underline her rise.
“The way Kelsey Bennett ended 2025, the next step was always going to be a breakthrough win,” the panel noted. “A first LET victory that also sealed the Australian’s place in this year’s AIG Women’s Open.”
MacLaren completes the shortlist after rediscovering form with two top-five finishes, continuing her resurgence following a challenging period.
“The Mac is back,” the panel added. “After 18 months in the wilderness, the future full of promise.”
Voting is open via the LET website and app until April 7, with fans invited to decide the standout performer from a compelling month of competition.
