Emirates NBD Expands Its Footprint in Golf
Leading bank strengthens ties with DP World Tour through new partnerships in Dubai and Abu Dhabi
Seoul, Korea - The DP World Tour has announced an extended partnership with Emirates NBD, one of the Middle East’s foremost banking groups, which becomes the Official Partner and Official Banking Partner to two flagship tournaments – the 2025 DP World Tour Championship and the 2026 Abu Dhabi Championship.
Building on its role with the Hero Dubai Desert Classic, Emirates NBD will now be prominently aligned with all three UAE Rolex Series events. The new agreements cover the season-ending DP World Tour Championship at Jumeirah Golf Estates in November 2025 and the Abu Dhabi Championship at Yas Links in November 2026. Both are key stops in the DP World Tour Play-offs and attract elite fields, including reigning champion Rory McIlroy.
“As a leading national bank, Emirates NBD is committed to celebrating the UAE’s role as a global hub for sport and culture,” said Marwan Hadi, Group Head, Retail Banking and Wealth Management. “Expanding our partnership with the DP World Tour, from one Rolex Series event to three, allows us to further connect with our customers and communities through world-class events that embody the same spirit of ambition and achievement.”
The agreement gives Emirates NBD high-visibility branding across both tournaments, alongside exclusive hospitality opportunities. It further reinforces the bank’s profile as a supporter of international sport, while underscoring the Tour’s ties with the region’s most influential institutions.
Tom Phillips, Director of Middle East at the DP World Tour, added: “We’re proud that our partnership family includes one of the region’s most influential banking groups. Emirates NBD’s support will enhance the experience for fans, players and partners, while contributing to the continued growth of golf in the region.”
