Paju, Korea - The Asian Tour will make its return to Vietnam next spring for the inaugural Vietnam Golf Championship, set to take place from April 1 to 4, 2027, at Long Thanh Golf Club in Ho Chi Minh City.
Offering a US$500,000 prize purse, the tournament marks the Asian Tour’s first visit to the country since 2023, when Zimbabwe’s Kieran Vincent captured the International Series Vietnam title. Promoted by VFXG, the event builds upon the organization’s nine-year history of staging charity golf tournaments across the region.

Located 40 kilometers northeast of Ho Chi Minh City, the 36-hole Long Thanh Golf Club features two Ronald Fream-designed layouts—the elevated Hill Course and the water-encircled Lake Course.

Vietnam has served as a frequent destination for the development circuit in recent years, hosting eight Asian Development Tour events since 2022.
